It's surprising that the Carpenters that helped Noah in building the historic Ark were not saved! They drowned.How do I know? Noah could not do all the work alone.Also,only eight people out of the millions were saved!!! The Carpenters had collected all their wages from Noah,(Genesis 6 to 8).So many of us serve/worship God because of what we will get from HIM right now!Not the HEAVEN and the rewards.
In Titanic,everyone was eager to enter,people paid so much to get a seat,no matter the price.
The Titanic was considered a pinnacle of naval architecture and technological achievement, and was thought by The Shipbuilder magazine to be "practically unsinkable" yet it sank!!! BUT NOAH built an ARK with ordinary wood,it could not sink!!! Jesus Christ is like the NOAH'S ARK.No wonder, ''the name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.'' Proverb 18v10.
When Noah received the instruction/mandate from God to build the Ark,he must have preached to his people.They mocked him.They argued..'how can...?'They thought he had gone mad.They supplied all the building materials without wasting any time,they demanded for their money.Noah paid them! The carpenters were working,cracking jokes...calling Noah names....On completion,they collected their wages instantly.''Noah,you must be a fool,give me my money,nonsense....!!!''
Why did Jesus Christ say,'as it was in the time of Noah so shall it be when HE would come.Luke 17:26-30.
May God have mercy on us.So many of us go to church because of the mighty miracles we receive.We seek for miracles but we do not want the miracle WORKER.Some come because they love the preacher,maybe,he preaches to suit the lifestyle;some go because it is a family church;some go because it is a place where guys meet!
So many donate to churches to be recognized and praised,(receiving their reward here);when the real needy goes to them,he would not be allowed to come in!
I am afraid.I wonder why He saved only few out of the millions! Only eight people were saved during the time of Noah! Is it why He says,'many are called,but few are chosen?'Can minority be saved?'there is a road that seems good to a man,that road leads to destruction,(Proverbs 14:12);...that Saving-road is too narrow,only FEW can find it', 'the wide road is always very busy because, they are on the majority!
How can I be among the few? Just receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.HE is the only Saving Ark/Savior.
